Reata Equine Veterinary Group is an exclusively equine veterinary practice in Tucson, Arizona.

All of us at Reata Equine Veterinary Group share a deep abiding love and appreciation of horses. Our entire staff is committed to providing the best quality medical and wellness care for your horse, so we limit our practice to horses only. Reata has been caring for Southern Arizona horses for over 30 years. We believe in building lasting relationships with our clients and the horses who love them.

We strive to provide our patients with the best medical care where they live.  Our veterinarians think the patient does better overall and will heal faster when diagnosed and treated at home.  In order to provide accurate and fast diagnosis and treatment for our patients we offer portable digital xrays, portable digital ultrasound,  portable endoscopy and in house blood work and bacterial culture capabilities.

With equine only veterinarians and veterinary technicians we provide 24/7 emergency care. If your horse gets sick or injured we come to you. We do not rotate emergencies with other practices. If one of our patients is sick or injured at any time of the day or night, we want one of our veterinarians to go help that patient.  The attending veterinarian from our practice will have a laptop on site to access  your horse's computerized medical records to be able to provide the best possible care - on site.

For our client's convenience we offer a pharmacy and dispensary.

The dispensary stocks a variety of non prescription health care products including: topical treatments, bandaging products, fly control, nutriceuticals, hoof care, first aid kits, and many other over-the-counter items.

The Reata office anddispensary is open to the public. Monday through Friday: 9AM to 5PM Prescription pharmacy services are available only for clients of Reata Equine Veterinary Group. Our doctors are happy to provide prescriptions for needed medications so that owners can shop for the best possible prices on the internet or at local pharmacies.

Our field service area is limited to Southern Arizona. Services are available at our breeding station on a haul in basis for owners outside of the service area.
